After a management buyout in 2015 at Mainstream Training, I was asked to come in and discus the possibility of a rebrand as the company had quite a harsh, aggressive selling brand at the time which needed to change.
The directors and I decided on a brand idea using illustrated characters to soften the brand and appeal more to a younger audience.
I have spent the last few years illustrating the characters and machinery we used in the branding and signs and developed new characters as the company moved into different areas of training and education.
I also developed a social media following and built a new website www.recruitandtrain.com which after 3 months was seeing 2700 unique visitors a week. The building needed new signs and vehicles needed liveries, all of the old printed material was binned and new leaflets and brochures were designed and produced keeping the look and perception on brand.
Lately we have been producing commercial videos for Mainstream which have proven to be very popular when used as explainers to show learners what they will be doing on certain courses.
A long but very enjoyable project to say the least.
